What Can Your Child Expect on the Day?

Guided by MBLC cookery teachers, children will gain valuable skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen safety and presenting their complete dishes. Our workshops can at times be themed recipes from a particular country, season, festival or occasion and are age appropriate. We have regular breaks in between cooking for additional activities such as colouring in, foodie quizzes and games especially for the younger age groups. At the end of the day, everyone can take their creations home.

What’s Included and not included?

All ingredients, Aprons and equipment's are provided during classes and workshop.
Children will need to bring their own Packaging to take home creation.

Does my child need to bring anything with them?

YES please do send your child with a packed lunch and a water bottle. Depending on the recipes being made, children may be able to eat some for lunch or a snack if the timings work out but this cannot be guaranteed. We operate a no-nut policy to protect children with allergies.

My child has dietary requirements or allergies can they still attend?

Please be advised that our teachers do have to prepare some ingredients in advance and we cannot guarantee that other products containing allergens have not been handled in the kitchens we are using.  Having said that we will do our best to cater for most dietary requirements and allergies. Please provide detailed information during the registration process and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss how best we can accommodate your child.

How do i pay?

We have updating how payments work to make things simpler and more consistent for all families. This payment only applies if you are on a monthly recurring plan. If you are on pay as you go then you simply book a class as and when you wish and attend on chosen date.

From now on, recurring billing will follow a term‑time only structure, which reflects the actual teaching weeks across the year. This means payments are taken during the 9 active months when classes run, and no payments are taken during the main holiday months.

Active billing months (payments taken):
September, October, November
January, February, March
May, June, July

Non‑billing months (no payments):
August, December, April

This structure aligns with the 39‑week teaching year and ensures you only pay for the months when classes are running. This payments is based on one class per week on the same chosen day of the week Priced are worked out at £29 per class/week. Recurring payments will be completed by Mini Bakers Little Chef. Your first invoice payment will activate your future payments with us.

If you have any questions about the new schedule them please do get in touch.
