MBLC- mini BAKERS little Chefs
Parents- person responsible and bill payer
Child- the child attending class and workshops
1:1 Staffing and training
​
All staff working under MBLC are subject to training once they have passed probation period. All staff are required to complete a food safety course to insure that high standards are met. All staff are selected by MBLC and are subject to DBS checks before working with children.
​
1:2 Allergies
​
All our classes are NUTS free however products that we use may have been produced in a factory that contain nuts. Our classes are not classed suitable if you or your child have allergens, please keep this in mind when booking your class. We may at times have annual classes throughout the holidays that may be suitable however we can not guarantee classes to be fully free from allergens.

1:3 Locations
​
Our location is currently based in house at RG41 5RZ Winnersh and multiple locations across RG5 Woodley Berkshire. We will expand into other local towns should there be interest.
​
1:4 Pay as you go
​
We offer Pay as you go classes on all weekly clubs. Our pay as you go is subject to one payment only for one class only (eg. for the class that you are paying for only) with all the benefits stated on the booking page only. MBLC also have one off payments for annual classes during the holidays.
​
1:5 Live and Virtual class
​​
We offer online live classes and virtual workshops that can be purchased on our website to help your child cook from the comfort of their own home.
​
1:6 Fresh Products Guarantee
​
At MBLC we believe in healthy, fresh and well-balanced meal. All fresh product will be locally sourced to support other small businesses within the community. MBLC classes and workshop will focus on the importance of eating and making fresh food.
​
1:7 Contact
​
The best way to contact MBLC is though our website by email or communication button, We require 48 hours during busy times to respond back to you. Please keep a look out as some of our reply may go to your Junk mail or Spam mail. We can also be contacted by phone, please leave a voicemail at all times if you can not get though to us. We do not check our social media messages often therefore please do not message MBLC on social platforms.

2:1 Media and Data
​​
During classes and workshops we may take photos of the children and their work to showcase this on our website, media pages and our MBLC app for Parents and potential customers to view. Should you have any concerns with this please do get in touch or state this when booking a class on the section "anything we should know" during checkout.

2:2 Expectation from Children and Parents
​
At MBLC we expect all Children to Be Respectful to one another, Be Resilient by understanding that challenges are a learning opportunities to getting better, Be a good Listener when being given instructions and Be Brave to try and create new things.
At MBLC we expect Parents to inform their children of what MBLC expects from them and the importance of being a good listener. We also expect Parents to come on time so that children have enough time to use the toilet whilst parents are present and to give children the time to be ready before class starts. We expect Parents to be on time when picking up children and for Parents to be visible for children to see them during pick up time. We will not allow any children to leave if we can not see the Parents by the door (eg. please do not call out children to come if you are sitting or waiting in your car)

2:3 Changes to Terms and Conditions
​
MBLC terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time, therefore we recommend keeping your self up to date. Dates will be stated on top on this page should terms and condition change. It is Parents responsibility to ensure that they are up to date on all terms and conditions.

2:4 Rights to Cancel or Termination
​​
Our classes are pay as you go, this is not classed as a membership therefore once you have paid for your class we are unable to refund your payment.
In an emergency situations we are able to change your date of booking to a different class however this is under our discretion.
We have the right to terminate any child should we believe that they are causing risk to themselves to others.

2:5 Pricing and inflation
​
Our prices may be subject to change in future due to inflation to meet cost of living standards. Should any changes be made, MBLC will inform all club members in advanced. Price of each class and workshops are stated when booking.
​
2:6 Annual Leave and Closures
​​
MBLC is a term time class. During the holidays and half terms we may run some workshops or holiday club which can be booked separately. In emergency and unforeseen circumstances we may have to close and rebook class or workshop to a different day or refund your workshop payment if unable to reschedule.

3:1 First Aid & Emergency
​
All class will have a first aider in place to ensure that any possible injury is handled with correctly. By signing up to MBLC classes you are allowing MBLC first aider to treat your child should they require any first aid treatments, You will be informed of this when picking up your child if they have had any first aid treatments. In an Emergency or for severe injury parents will be contacted immediately along with health professionals if required. Samantha the owner of MBLC has years of experience in the healthcare industry and is medication trained and a first aider.

3:2 Safety in Class
​
All Children will be informed of safety at the start of each class and workshop to ensure that children are working in good practices to reduce the risk of harm. We encourage parents to also educate their children on the important of listening.

3:3 Children Sickness and Attendance
​
Due to working with food we request that any children who are sick with vomiting or diarrhoea to not attend class until they are fully well or no less than 48hours of their last symptom. For all other sickness please ensure that your child is fit enough to attend class.
​
3:4 Personal Protective Clothing
​
​Protective clothing such as aprons are provided during class.
We recommend not putting children in their best clothes as cooking and baking could be messy. For children with long hair we recommend hair to be tied back
